@ A E Harris was echoing to the gentle sounds of crooning yesterday as Untied Artists limbered up for their brief summer tour of Al Bowlly’s Croon Manifesto. Jake has been working on the piece for a long time now, it’s fantastic that finally the full length completed version is on the road. It opens at the Lichfield Festival today through the weekend and I’m planning on catching it in West Bromwich Town Hall next Thursday. It’s a slick and entertaining act so comes recommended from this quarter.
