Following the success of Circus Parade the previous year a number of schools close to Holly Hill Infants expressed an interest in becoming part of the parade, so ambitions were increased. A samba band was booked to work with the children and lead the parade. Frankly Community High School taking part meant larger, stronger children were able to support bigger costums. More schools meant more classes, more costumes covering broader themes, namely weather, the seasons and food.

Although it rained on the morning of the parade, come the afternoon everything was set fair and the parade passed off without a hitch.
