Natasha Howes had helped us restage It's Your Film at the Ikon Gallery in 1998 and when she moved to work at Manchester City Art Gallery, eventually we found a date and opportunity to continue our collaboration.

The show was positioned in the atrium space with links the two main buildings of the gallery, another busy transition zone in which people encounter the show on their way to do other things.
