The Cleansing Of Constance Brown with It's Your Film and Simple Maths
Original 'scripts' in forms of instructions and tables all liberally illustrated with original production photographs. This volume also includes original programme notes and related texts. 64 pages, 'perfect bound', colour cover illustration by Kate Bird, black and white inside.
Home Of The Wriggler: Script
The original script with production photographs, an extended version of "Griff's Story", a 'making of' essay and other bonus material.
Othello: an edit
Shakespeare's original script compressed to run in an hour. This volume was commissioned by Saltley Academy, it is illustrated by the students. 65 pages, black, white and read cover, black and white interior, 'perfect bound'.
Trailblazers: In A Visible City designed by Gareth Courage, with photographs and quotes from 120 young people from 20 schools across Birmingham. This beautiful art object is also a piece of social documentation setting out the hopes, aspirations and frustrations of a group of 14 and 15 year olds.
A preview of the map can be found on the Trailblazers page, but this lacks the young people's direct quotes and 1200 photographs on the reverse. Digital is no substitute for the lovely tactile folding object.
Videos document many Stan's Cafe productions, including most major touring shows. The quality varies according to the techonology and skill we had available at the time of recording. Most of the shows are on VHS, though we have transfered some to DVD, and this is clearly indicated in each case. They cost 18 each including postage.
Videos exist of The Carrier Frequency and most shows made with
students; these are unavailable as they contain material for which we
do not have copyright release. Viewing of these is possible, by prior
arrangement, at Stan's HQ in Birmingham.
